It seems that for the last thirty years or so, depiction of the future have gotten bleaker and bleaker.  The shiny utopianism of Star Trek has given way to the grimy, despotic decay of the Alien franchise and Children Of Men – the madmaxification of things to come.  Not so with Air’s Moon Safari, which looks back with fond nostalgia to a time when the future was bright.  The sort of thing that would have been played in one of those fantastic space colonies dreamed up in the seventies.
